About Nikos

BIO

Nikos Acuña is the Founder and CEO of Aion Labs.

He is an interdisciplinary AI researcher, technologist, entrepreneur, author, and artist.

Nikos has spent the last 15 years building and running AI R&D innovation labs for blue chip tech companies like Rocket Fuel, Sizmek/Amazon, and Domo. He has designed and deployed over a dozen AI data products across the globe, that have generated over 300m in revenue impact.

VISION

Nikos founded Aion Labs as a long term research project to usher in what the French theologian and paleontologist Pierre Teillhard de Chardin would describe as the Omega Point--humanity's final frontier.

As a technologist, his passion is building and deploying software.

As an educator, Nikos is helping the world to be machine-augmented in order to prosper.

As a researcher and media artist, his quest is to deepen our understanding of the nature of reality through computer vision and machine-augmented design.
